This Expedition will be led by Unsplash Photographer, Dan Gold at 10:30AM on Saturday, January 21st
This route will focus on exploring La Candelaria—ending with a trip to the top of Monserrate!
Unsplash is rethinking photography-based events with the introduction of Expeditions—photowalks with a sense of adventure and purpose.
Beginning at Juan Valdez, Dan will lead you through the neighborhood of Santa Fe to capture some amazing street art, up Carerra 7 where Street Performers and meandering alleys make for great documentary-style shots, through the Plaze de Bolivar where pigeons are more common than people and then to the final destination—the top of Monserrate. Attendees will have the option to take the cable car or funicular up to the top where you can take in the amazing views of the city below (entrance fee of ~18.000COP) .
For those who want to stick around, the crew will be regrouping at Papaya Gourmet for some good food and tasty drinks. A bar crawl is set to take off from there at 5PM, Dan will provide more details on the day of for anyone interested in joining.
